A card for free is never a bad thing! Took a while to get it, but that was 100% the post office's fault! They showed that it arrived shortly after it was sent, but then they lost it.

Entered into what I thought would be a simple 1 for 1 PWE trade. I read the feedback beforehand and was leery to make a trade, but with the cards being exchanged, I was willing to take the risk. I sent my package the day after accepting the offer. I hadn't heard anything, so I messaged them and asked for an update to make sure the package arrived. They marked it as received and marked that they sent their package that same day. That was on 1/3. Since then I've messaged them multiple times requesting an update. No response. I'm left with no choice but to leave this negative feedback. If they would communicate with me and provide me with honest updates, even if it was to say they were busy and haven't been able to mail it yet, then I would be ok with it, but not responding to any messages isn't a good way to conduct business on here.

This trade took a while but the cards made the trip and are in good shape. I also got a music cd to listen to. Thanks for the trade.

Leaving a negative rating on this trade. Due to this member's rating and my past experience trading with this member, we agreed to a they mail first and I mail my side once I received their end. Below is the timing on this 1 card for 3 trade:

6/29/23 A billion trades proposes a trade.
7/3/23 I accept the trade
August - September 2023 I send 3 messages looking for updates on when the card will be mailed.
11/30/23 Member tells me they just ordered the card indicating that they offered up a card that they didn't currently own.
1/4/24 I receive the card and mail my end of the trade.
1/17/24 Trade marked complete.
If you are keeping score at home, that's 6 months to complete a 1 card for 3 card trade. Because of that, I find it hard to recommend that anyone trade with this member.

On January 8, 2023, I was proposed a trade with the message they would send first. I thought I would accept to help get this member's rating better. I never heard from the member for months and I sent a multitude of follow up messages. I got a second trade request after months of waiting on my transaction and had to ask if it was a joke due to the old transaction that still wasn't satisfied. I was told to leave a message in the old transaction and it would move to the top of their queue and they would respond. I did. I haven't heard from this person since. After a year (today is 1/14/2024) and a ton of follow up with not a single communication back, I am finally marking this unfinished and moving on. I've never left anything but positive ratings on every trade I've done here. This is disappointing, but I owe it to other members.

Left TCDB indefinitely without finishing out trades?? Pretty terrible thing to do.

It's at this point that I feel I have no other recourse other than to leave negative feedback. I understand that mistakes may happen in a trade, as I myself made a mistake during the process (I forgot to send a card). What became the issue, however, was that I never received communication or updates on the missing items. It has been weeks since I first reached out about the missing items and have not heard anything about these missing cards, though Jackie did comment on another trade that I had. At this point I'm writing the cards off as a lost cause and moving on. If I had received communication from Jackie, things would be a much different story; however, it's been three weeks with no communication.

This small trade has been completed. Although there was a considerable delay, I would trade again. A small trade open for 90 days with no communication after multiple requests. Jackie needs to get much better at completing her trades in a timely manner.

One of the weirdest transactions I've ever had, if not the weirdest. Initially offered a 1 for 1 trade (for commons). I usually ask that both sides offer enough to make the postage worth the cost before agreeing to a trade. Trader then offers/insists on sending the one card for free. I figure sure, why not?

I accept the trade on 15 May. I received the card on 3 July. The card's condition itself is good, but instead of simply sending the 5 cent card PWE for 60 cents postage, trader sends the card inside a random DVD box (Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas to be precise) for $3.65 in postage -- with the disc still inside. Color me confused. Was the trader trying to rid himself of a large stack of DVDs? No idea.

It seems apparent to me based on this trader's history of multiple accounts and insistence that I accept one small-valued card that this trader wants to boost his/her feedback score. I can understand that. However, the oddity of this whole transaction, the length of time it took, the history of this trader, and Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas make me extremely cautious of doing any real dealings with this trader in the future.

I am leaving this feedback as positive because, well, free is free. I received a card I needed for my set for no cost, and I cannot punish that, but boy, warning bells are ringing. If you want to trade with this trader in the future, I would recommend keeping it small-scale and building in a few months for everything to be shipped. I would strongly suggest avoiding large transactions until there is demonstratable proof that this trader can handle small-moderate sized trades in a timely manner.

A 1 for 1 trade that took over a month to complete. This trader made the offer on 4/27 and offered to send first due to their questionable trade rating. I accepted on 4/27 with the promise to mail my end once I received theirs. I was happy to give them the opportunity to gain my positive rating. On 4/30 they updated the trade status to sent. Card was not received until 6/7. Post mark on the package is 6/2. I say package because the card was shipped inside of a DVD. I guess this is to make up for the delay in shipping. I would rather quicker shipping than a DVD that I have no interest in. Neutral rating left because the trade was completed.

With A billion trades sending first, and a good deal of patience on my end, this trade did get completed successfully.

It took a few months but the cards finally arrived with a bonus DVD. Thanks for the trade.
